2010: State Chess Tournament

The Illinois High School Chess Tournament will be held February 12-13, 2010, at the Peoria Civic Center. Representing the East Central Illinois Chess League are the following teams: defending IHSA State Champion Uni High, Bismarck-Henning, Charleston, Danville, Georgetown-Ridge Farm, Heyworth, Normal U-High, Normal Community, and Olympia. Besides taking home the state championship last year, the ECICL also captured several division titles. This post will be updated regularly during the tournament.
