Changes for 2013-2014
Please consult the IHSA State Manual for all changes. One major change, adopted by the ECICL, is that games will move to G55/5.
While linked on this page, the Illinois Chess Coaches Association provides a great deal of information. Coaches are encouraged to consult the website and find tournaments outside of the league.
Due to moving to three divisions -- East, Central and West -- the top two teams and top four individual players in each division will get trophies.
The ECICL is probably the largest league in the state.
